Accessibility Statement
How MyShroom Planet™ designs, tests, and improves the site for keyboard, screen-reader, low-vision, mobile, and other access needs.
Commitment
MyShroom Planet™ is committed to making its educational, comparison, interactive, legal, and contact content usable by people with disabilities. Accessibility is treated as an ongoing product and editorial responsibility, not a one-time plugin or checklist.
Design and content practices
The site aims to provide semantic headings and landmarks, keyboard-accessible navigation, visible focus states, readable contrast, responsive layouts, descriptive links, labeled form controls, meaningful error messages, alternative text, reduced-motion support, and touch targets large enough for mobile use. Important information should not depend only on color, hover, animation, or an image.
Interactive tools
The Fit Finder, glossary, calculator, filters, share controls, signup forms, preferences, and contact form are intended to work with keyboard navigation and common assistive technology. Progressive steps should expose only the active question while preserving clear progress, Back and Continue controls, validation, and status messages.
Documents, media, and third-party content
Some legacy images, PDF files, embedded media, merchant pages, retailer widgets, and third-party services may not meet the same accessibility standard or may be outside complete site control. MyShroom Planet™ works to provide useful text context or an alternative path when practical.
Testing and improvement
Accessibility checks include mobile widths, keyboard navigation, focus visibility, form labels, color contrast, zoom, reflow, reduced motion, and common screen-reader patterns. New templates and significant changes are reviewed, and reported barriers are prioritized based on severity and the importance of the blocked task.
Requesting help or an alternative format
Use the Contact page and select accessibility feedback. Include the page URL, the task you were trying to complete, the device, browser, assistive technology when relevant, and the format or information you need. MyShroom Planet™ will consider a reasonable alternative way to provide the information or complete the task.
Known limitations and response
No website can guarantee perfect compatibility with every browser, device, extension, assistive technology, or third-party service. A reported barrier will be reviewed rather than dismissed because it is intermittent or device-specific. Do not send passwords, payment information, government identifiers, or medical records through the accessibility form.
