Corrections and Updates Policy
How MyShroom Planet™ reviews factual errors, changed products, broken links, unsafe wording, accessibility issues, and reader-submitted evidence.
What this policy covers
This policy applies to factual statements, product and label details, calculations, citations, links, images, captions, accessibility information, disclosures, structured data, and other material published by MyShroom Planet™. It also covers significant changes to retailer listings that affect the usefulness of a recommendation.
What we correct
We correct material factual errors, broken or misdirected links, inaccurate ingredient or product details, outdated availability statements, unsupported or unsafe wording, attribution errors, misleading headlines, calculation errors, missing material disclosures, and accessibility barriers that prevent a reader from using important content.
Product and retailer changes
Amazon listings, sellers, formulas, variations, prices, subscriptions, images, warnings, and availability can change without notice. Pages may display a last-checked date where practical. Retail links, product cards, rankings, and recommendations may be updated, replaced, demoted, or removed when the current listing no longer matches the page or editorial standard.
Material corrections versus routine edits
A material correction changes the meaning, safety, conclusion, product identity, recommendation, disclosure, or evidence supporting a page. Material corrections may be noted on the page with the date and a concise explanation.
Routine edits can include spelling, punctuation, formatting, accessibility labels, broken internal links, image sizing, or clearer wording that does not change the conclusion. These may be made without a public correction note.
How to report an issue
Use the Contact page and select correction or update. Include the exact URL, the disputed statement or broken element, the date observed, the current label or listing when relevant, and the strongest reliable source available. Screenshots can help document a temporary listing or mobile-rendering problem.
How reports are reviewed
A report is compared with the original source, current page, current product listing or label, independent evidence when appropriate, and the site’s editorial method. MyShroom Planet™ may contact the reporter for clarification but does not promise an individual response to every submission.
Conflicts and commercial pressure
Brands, sellers, affiliate partners, and advertisers may request changes, but commercial pressure does not determine the outcome. A product sample, enhanced commission, partnership request, legal threat, or disagreement with a negative tradeoff is not by itself proof that the content is inaccurate.
Corrections, redirects, and removals
A page may be corrected in place, substantially rewritten, merged into a stronger page, redirected, noindexed, unpublished, or removed depending on the problem. Unsafe or unsupported legacy content can be redirected after a responsible replacement is verified.
Update transparency
Visible updated dates indicate that a page has been changed, not that every retailer detail was checked on that exact date. Readers should still verify the current package, seller, warnings, and product variation before purchase or use.
